Thyssen Museum and Churros

Visit the Carmen Thyssen Art Museum, explore the unique Spanish culture through the paintings of famous artists and by tasting churros with dark chocolate.

We will visit the Carmen Thyssen Art Museum. The museum’s collection, which predominantly consists of works of Spanish and especially Andalusian artists from the 19th century, belongs to the private collection of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza’s widow Carmen Servers. . Also, you will get the chance to see the work of Romero de Torres. This famous Spanish artist has depicted the traditional beauty of the women; Cordoba is known to be famous for throughout Spain.

After visiting the Museum, we will visit a special cafe, which is known for its homemade, traditional churros (fried-dough pastry). Traditionally, Spaniards eat churros, dipping them into hot chocolate. We will definitely repeat this ritual in order to finish our tour in a pleasant way.

Duration: 1 ½ to 2 hour.

The price includes: Entrance to the museum’s the permanent collection. Two churros and hot chocolate / juice / coffee. Guide service.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes. No big bags.

Conditions

  • This tour requires the presence of a minimum of 2 people.
  • If the tour is not confirmed at least two days in advance, it will automatically be canceled.
  • You can pay a deposit of 30% of the total tour price. This will guarantee that you will attend the tour. Otherwise, the guide can change the date or time, upon consultation with you, or cancel the excursion at any time.
  • If you pay the deposit and want to cancel the excursion, you need to do at least 48 hours in advance and your deposit will be refunded with the exception of any banking fees. Any cancelations  less than 48 hours before the tour will not be refunded.

Individual tour for up to 5 persons: 25 € / person.
Group tour starting from 6 persons: 20 € / person.
