The tour lasts more than eight hours and we are going to visit the following places:

Frigiliana – a small town surrounded be fruit trees and vineyards, with a labyrinth of narrow and winding, cobbled streets and small cottages on the mountain slopes, offering a magnificent view of the coast. The village of Frigiliana is situated six kilometers north of Nerja and just over fifty kilometers from Malaga. The main point of historic interest is the Catholic Church of San Antonio., built in the the 17th century. Another significant attraction is “Castillo de Frigiliana”, with its fortified tower, which has survived into the present day. All this will be followed by the tasting of delicious locally-produced muscatel wines.

All you need to know about the Nerja.

Caves of Nerja – one of Spain’s most popular and spectacular historical sites. A series of huge caves stretching for almost five kilometers and home to the world’s largest stalagmite, a 32 meter high column measuring 13 meters by 7 meters at its base. The caves’ total area is roughly the size of five football fields. In addition to the stalactites and stalagmites of peculiar shapes and sizes, on the walls of the caves you will be able to take a closer look at the cave paintings, whose age is estimated to exceed 20,000 years.

Nerja – one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, Nerja is one of the few places to have kept its traditional charm, with whitewashed houses, narrow streets and all the modern amenities you could hope for. One further attraction is the Balcon de Europa, which is Nerja’s most famous landmark and the focal point for most of the town’s activities. A walk along the Balcon de Europa offers spectacular panoramic views of the whole of the Costa del Sol. After the caves, we can take a short break and relax on one of the most picturesque beaches, something which Nerja is famous for.
